I am not Catholic and when I visited the Sacre Couer in Paris I felt an unbelievable surge of warmth and energy come over me and I was instantly overwhelmed with emotions. I believe it is built on old holy ground as well.

you may be interested in something called infrasound! it's sound waves that we can't hear, but can feel. there's been cases where infrasound sources can cause hallucinations that look like ghosts, and the experiments with infrasound result in people feeling very different in a room. I would not be surprised if infrasound is higher in places such as these.

I think I have a thin place on my property, it's a good chunk of land that I wanted to turn into a garden but every time I go back there I feel like I'm being watched and if I talk it'll be whistled back to me. Maybe there are mocking birds back there but I've listened to multiple bird sounds trying to explain it away and nothing comes close. I've decided to just leave it alone and not disturb whatever is back there.
