We have to put on a happy face and be happy for those around us who do get to experience those beautiful things that one experiences growing up, but deep down inside we are crying our kiddos won’t get to experience that. Next time a parent shares something like this with you, just listen and be there for them. Don’t tell them how they should be greatful and their kid can do the same things.
