@theworkoutwitch: the science behind when your body treats stress like an allergy 👇🏼 your body’s response to prolonged high cortisol levels can actually mimic an allergy to stress itself... this allergy to stress is a sign that your body’s unable to regulate its internal environment because it’s already maxed out, leading to an overactive stress response even when faced with minor stressors 😮💨 you might be experiencing symptoms like: ✨ constant feelings of overwhelm ✨ hives, itching, flushing, or swelling skin ✨ persistent irritability or short temper ✨ muscle tension / joint pain ✨ fatigue, no matter how much you sleep ✨ digestive issues like nausea, throwing up, or abdominal pain ✨ low blood pressure ✨ lightheadedness / dizziness ✨ frequent colds or infections ✨ new food and environmental sensitivities ✨ headaches / migraines / brain fog the good news is that you can retrain your body to stop reacting so intensely to stress with somatic exercises 💖 somatic exercises release years of pent-up stress & stored trauma out of your body while bringing your hormones back into balance as you release, you’ll feel much lighter both physically and emotionally ✨ your body will no longer jump into high alert at the smallest sign of stress and your body’s stress symptoms will be reduced 💪🏼 you’ll no longer feel like you need to avoid living your life due to feeling easily stressed out. instead, you’ll feel much more at ease and will have a lot more energy 🌟 you’ll also start to see your relationships flourish as you respond with patience and understanding, rather than stress-induced reactions 💖 do you want to overcome your body’s allergic reaction to stress? get guided through the step by step 👇🏼 click the 🔗 on profile, then click release stress & stored trauma 💖✌🏼💖 . . . #stress #hives #mcas #cortisol #histamineintolerance #chronicstress

Chronically high cortisol usually means one thing first: not enough real rest and sleep, not another label.

Omg that could be one of the reasons my neck is breaking out in random bumps?? The back of my neck gets so itchy that I accidentally scratch it raw. I’ve also started getting the worst heart burn of my life
