I agree about hydrafacials, they arent my favorite. I work at a medspa and the hydrafacial consumables are sooooo expensive, we charge $199 for the 30min hydrafacial too and honestly we barely make any $$ off if it

Hydrafacials are definitely not a relaxing facial. They are meant to get the gunk out and really create a clean, smooth surface. I’m sorry you didn’t like it!

Facials at a spa and getting a facial at a med spa are two completely different experiences. A spa facial is relaxing but isn’t going to do anything to improve your skin really. A med spa is for treatments. I have a monthly med spa appointment that rotates a custom facial, microneedling and other advanced treatments. About the only thing relaxing is the arm massage while under the red light. I never expect relaxation, I’m going to anti-aging and clear skin purposes. I actually don’t like getting relaxing facials done due to acne prone skin and don’t want to risk it since I really don’t know what products they are using. Different strokes for different folks.

They’re a waste of time tbh. Get a chemical pee or laser - real results that last!
