Don’t know anyone that got seasick. Also everyone was incredibly quiet in the berthing area. We went out of our way to make as little noise as possible.

When my Uncle was alive (WW2 Vet Navy) he would say when you hear about what the Army and Marines went through in either the Jungle or in Europe….. Any complaints about being uncomfortable went out the window

You show an aircraft carrier. You don't even feel the ship moving. If you're tried enough you can sleep through anything. I've slept on the wing of an aircraft Sitting on the flight deck during flight operations.

Oh nooooooo I could sleep any where. Engine room 150 F. Elevator machinery room. winch booth. HP Air Flask room. The rolling motion put me to sleep faster than melatonin. 😂😂😂

Brother, you’re usually so damn exhausted you hear NOTHING! I had a claxton (diving alarm for you non-bubbleheads) literally an arm’s length outside my rack and more often than not I’d sleep right through it.

Rack fan and ear plugs. You feel no motion even in the roughest of seas. Slept like a baby 🫡

I remember first arriving on the Roosevelt. I was an E3 then and had the top bunk. I just loved it when they flipped on the lights whilst I was sleeping!
