It was his choice. He was tased three times, sprayed twice, they tried taking him to the ground unsuccessfully, shot with less lethal rounds and still charged at an officer who was pointing a weapon at him. It's all on him.

A shot to the legs to stop the suspect would have done the trick but American police are not trained to immobilize suspects but to kill. He was not armed, those were crocodile tears. He meant exactly what he did.
