@joelledesterke: We gave the herd some time to say goodbye to Jackana. After all, she was their family member as well. Everyone walked by and said goodbye in their own way. They seem to have accepted her death and are moving on. Vingino still calls out for her though. It is a very sad and worried call. Understandably so, as they were together with us for 16 years! They both had their own friends in the groups over the years, their bond seemed more like a younger brother and older sister. But especially last summer they grew very close again, as if they knew it would be their last summer together. It hurts to see him upset, but it is also kind of comforting to know that we are not the only ones who are grieving the loss of Jackana 💔🕊 #restinpeace #foreverinourhearts #tillwemeetagain #sayinggoodbye #horseherd
