he was met with harshness. That was disappointing to see. It doesn’t cost anything to be kind. You never know what someone is going through, and a few gentle words could make all the difference. He has a phone…he can get directions on there. If a recent parolee shows up on a random porch at 1am BE SUSPICIOUS

It’s a dam parolee (convicted felon) at 1am on your doorstep in the middle of the night. Not some old lady at noon. She gave him directions and asked him to leave….. I promise you she was much nicer than I would have been. I have a wife and children and we want no parts of this nor the consequences of his prior actions….. PERIOD!

A similar situation happened to us, we didn’t open the door everything was done thru the window,we call an uber to take him where he needed to go he was asking for help and to give him a ride. Never seen him again. He thanked us for it .

I won’t lie to you he’s probably very scared. He’s been told what to do when to do it and where to do it. Dropped at the curb and told to make it happen. He just needed help.

I know you cant be too nice but he literally said he needed to get to his room and was lost... chances are he was in long enough he doesnt remember or know his way around if hes from another state it takes nothing to give simple directions

I think he is just lost..Most paroled people get sent to housing places if they can't parole to family/friends..He just wanted help, he clearly said his phone died..My brother was paroled to a hotel and got lost, it happens so just give him directions and tell him where 19th is..

I’ll help anyone, but at 1 am and she may be alone , and he’s on parole, sorry she did exactly what she should have done. Don’t judge her for protecting herself and maybe her children.
