I think we all understand. It doesn’t have to do with the licensing, but it has to do with the affordability and the access, and those are careers that are specifically more female driven, first generation, American, and examples of careers that can take you into middle class lifestyles and I think limiting $ makes them less attainable that’s what the issue is

My issue is that we appear to be complacent about the excessive tuition fees charged by institutions of higher learning. It's unconscionable, and I hope this will lead to a reduction in the cost of higher education.

It's a good move. Most US definitions of need is so elastic 😂 Stop the drama reign in your finances, debt just increases the price for everyone. If you ask me, debt is no longer allowed for education. The price will go down. Go to Philippines to learn Nursing. It's not costly. Then just pass the exam in US.

I heard the reason they are doing this is so that schools cannot charge the type of money that they do for law, school and middle school, etc. They want these colleges to not be able to charge that amount. So though the access to the loans may be decreased. It’s gonna force the school to also decrease their tuition for those specific Fields.

This will just mean people can’t cross state lines to go away to school they will have to go to a local commuter school. Sorry you should not be allowed to borrow money for housing and food to go to school.

Most people that are getting an advanced degree are already working in the field and their employer is paying the bill, so they’re not really needing all that money for the student loan because the employers paying the largest portion of it
