We had one baseball, one or two bats, and a few baseball mitts. We would use rocks or pieces of wood for bases. If we had a baseball, then we played baseball. If we had a softball, then we played softball. If we had a big ball, then we played kickball. If we lost the ball, then the game was over because we only had one ball.

I'm a 1999 baby and experienced lots of what Gen xers experienced since my parents are boomers. So...I got to experience life before social media really hit 😞 and I remember so many fun memories especially with my cousins on my mom's. We actually went outside and explored. Went sledding and came inside to take a warm shower 😉🚿 and then put on our cozy pj's with cozy socks 🧦 and hot coco! Then my sister usually made me some nice warm kraft Mac and cheese and we watched muppets on the Dino TV ☺️or build a fort inside and played with our toys....😟😔😞😭😕🥺. I could go on. Many great memories....I miss those days.

They say the future we promised, but in reality nowadays, the buildings looked like it came from "Minecraft" cubes. No color, no whimsy, no creativity... just corporate greed and sad beige color palettes which it sucks

Ever since the Great Recession (financial/economic collapse), everything is expensive because of tariffs. But with screens, we became the "main character syndrome" dealing with emotional struggles 🥺🥺🥺
