How do cats figure out how to manipulate people? I’m actually impressed

I work in vet med and we had a patient that would literally start faking a limp when he wanted to come see us. After a lot of visits we all figured it out. The owner got to where she would bring him to the clinic when he started limping at home. as soon as he crossed our doors limp was gone and he would run to a staff member. Every time. He passed away last year and the whole staff cried. Such a great dog and such amazing owners 😭❤️

People forget that the average cat has the intelligence of a toddler.. and that’s just an average cat 😂 manipulation comes easy to them

any time my cat thinks he isn't getting enough attention he starts winking so we think something is wrong with his eye

Our dog limped bc she was laying with leg underneath her funky and must have fell asleep. $350 vet visit to find out her leg was fine.

My cat did this so we took her to the vet. The vet said she was fine and then she proceeded to flip out and ACTUALLY break her paw.

My old lady dog did the same thing, we literally only found out because we had a living room camera and would check in and see her playing with her dog siblings and running around perfectly fine, and once we were home she was all limping.. I swear

My dog tore her ACL as a puppy, shes almost five now. She was limping the other day and I was worried she tore it again, until I realized it was the wrong leg. Then she switched it to the right leg. All bc she wanted chicken jerky.
