Earlier, he had signed an Executive Order establishing the Religious Liberty Commission. —After the historic and important signing, a handful of pastors who were with him on the platform as he signed went into the Oval Office with President Trump. No schedule. No plan on the agenda to do so. He simply turned and asked us to come in and talk and pray. This was after a two-hour ceremony and an hour long speech by POTUS. We spent time in fellowship and conversation about faith and America. What President Trump has done for American freedom, for faith, for our economy, opportunity, safety in our streets, and for the family is unparalleled. We have prayed with and for @POTUS many times with sincerity and warmth flowing both ways. He has stood with Christians, pastors, and families as we were under direct assault from many angles in the previous administration. From indoctrination against the children of Christian families across America to direct attacks on Christian liberty in the workplace to weaponized IRS targeting Christians and Christian organizations, President Trump stated what he would do. And, he has done and is doing what he said he would do. The results have been a gift to our nation. His work for peace, prosperity, and protection of Christians globally from the most violent and horrific attacks by Islamic extremists have been a Godsend. From Nigeria to Congo and to our own formerly porous borders, he has fought the establishment to bring peace, liberty, and common sense. No one has fought harder for America than President Trump. He’s been shot, sued, maligned, and attacked. His whole first administration was resisted by the Republican establishment. When I think of what it will take for successful midterms, I think it will require a unified, excited, and focused voice. President Trump’s first term faced opposition from the establishment.
