Unplanned c section on 7/16/26…My incision looked fantastic 30hrs post surgery, however, my pannus has so much edema from the Traxi sticker that it swings like a pendulum and looks like a plucked chicken/orange peel with the dilated pores. I was done bleeding by the end of the 2nd week too.

thank you soooo much for this video! I know you made it a while ago but I'm 300+ lbs currently and my baby is still breech at 36 weeks and I'm TERRIFIED of the c-section recovery so this made me feel so much better 🩷

I had a pico dressing and it was very good. However 8 days after I ended up catching sepsis and my scar started leaking as there was soo much fluid built up at the bottom of my stomach. I had to go back in hospital for another week! With my newborn baby on IV antibiotics.

I was worried about this and asked if I would be able to have a Pico dressing but they didn't give me so I just made sure I washed and dried it and used a fan as well and then I just folded a piece of gauze up and put it between the skin to keep it dry the rest of the time and I healed up fine thankfully.

I wish I knew you wanted to know as I had an overhang for all 4 c sections, I had one infection out of all 4, i used to lie down lift it up to let it air dry a few times a day and i used to pat it dry and used to put kitchen towel in the crease to keep it clean x

I had my 3rd c-section 3 weeks ago and my wound is keep on reopening here and there because of the moisture. I wash every day and I try to keep it dry but it keeps on getting sweaty. How do u keep it dry? my tummy is probably half like yours (currently 110kg🙈)
