my crabs kept knocking mine off of the branch I kept it on so I ended up wrapping string around it to where it now hangs from the lid of the tank lol

I am really stressing. I am a new hermit crab owner. I have 2 small crabs in a 20 gallon tank I have the humidity, heat. salt water and fresh foods, oils toys. one is molting right now. my other one was active, climbing and on his wheel, eating, driving. now today I can't find him. he has to be buried. what am I doing wrong that they keep hiding and burying themselves

In my largest snail tank I have 3: 1 in the middle, and 1 on either end. Having multiple is the fastest way for me to learn if a heat mat fails or if a fan is going too fast or slow, etc (since they have different attachments at each end of the tank).

hermit crabs do love 99% humidity it wets their gills and they love it so a little tropical party in high humidity is so good for them just be careful of flooding
