That's a crazy find. I'm guessing there used to be a countertop outlet there and the layout changed so they just fished out of that box for the microwave and tiled over it. Definitely a handyman's work 😂

I got a cheap bore scope camera off Amazon. Helps with poking around in walls seeing where wires go. Has a hook attachment too.
