my kid trained jiu-jitsu and was on the mats daily for 4 years and never got ringworm. he starts wrestling and got ringworm within 2 months. it was a damn nightmare getting rid of it and he was out for a month 😭

I just said this today at a tournament that I wished it was against the rules to wear wrestling shoes off the mat and in the restroom. It’s so gross to see kids come out of the bathroom right onto the mat.

We haven’t caught ring worm but our son wrestled in his second middle school tournament and caught staff. I think I’ll buy some of these because ring worm sounds awful
