Wait I have a genuine question, because I see that debate about the tree online a lot especially this year lol. I grew up with the European (Italian specifically) side of my family, is it mostly an American (from like multiple generations ig?) tradition to put it up after thanksgiving? We always have it up early November - January 6 (3 kings day). But I think it’s bc my great grandparents view thanksgiving as thanking God for family and food more than an American holiday. I can’t imagine thanksgiving without the tree up 🥲🥹
