Can somebody tell me why they don’t add the flour to the milk, stir it up and then put it in with the butter? This way there is never any lumps. All recipes seem to do it the way this video says to do it. I never understood why.

Wow that'll be bland, I make mine with onion raw or (caramelized which i prefer) garlic, tasty or chedder cheese and sometimes bacon, I sprinkle pepper on top of the potatoes, sometimes green seasonings or mixed herbs, then add the garlic, onions, a packet of onion soup, bacon then pour cream over the top with grated cheese. sometimes I make a cheese sauce instead with half milk & cheese then add extra grated cheese on top, it's delicious.

this is wrong believe me look up Scollop potatoes recipe with spring onion soup mix online. that's the good one, abd you need to boil potatoes first beforehand
