This is what narcissistic injury looks like. Vox yearns for Alastor's approval, and literally stopped at nothing to "get" it. But up until this point, he kinda just gave up. He was literally willing to kill himself, Alastor, and half of Hell just to prove that he was and will always be better than Alastor. This is why he's a well written character.🔥
