if seat was not selected(paid selected) seat will be change during check-In . It happen most of the time to me . Need to follow with Ticket they handed unless it was paid

this just happened to me when i went to hawaii, hawaiian airlines changed my seat but on my app it was saying my original seat. an they kept arguing with us so we just were like whatever. there were multiple people it had happened to as well

I know spirit. unless you pay for a seat it's always assigned to you and it's always in the very back in the las 2 rows. so for he being so far up she definitely paid for it or paid for a ticket that allowed her to pick her seat.

airlines given too much power to gate clerks, happened to me multiple times. they accommodate others to sit together at last minute but i selected a window seat for a reason to sleep.

My seat got changed at the gate door as I was boarding. It wouldn’t change in my app. That being said I paid to have a window seat and that is what I got in a different row same side just further back. I was in a wheelchair due to surgery sand used a cane to get to my seat, further back, and did not complain one bit. I still had a window seat. I sat in my seat until everyone else got off because I walk slow. You don’t need to be at the front of the plane. They aren’t going to leave until everyone is off and baggage claim has their own schedule and mist of the time everyone is there before the bags anyway. The only thing she could complain about is if they moved her to a different seat that she didn’t want like middle or aisle.

This has actually happened to me before lol. & It happened bc I choose to be seated anywhere randomly since i was flying solo, no biggie I didn’t mind anyways. Then when I boarded my flight they changed my seat completely on the printed boarding pass. So my phone & my boarding pass was completely different seating. I just agreed & moved seats. But if she paid for the seat it’s completely different story.

She didn’t want to pay extra to sit up front when she checked in so they assigned her a seat in the back automatically, she didn’t want to move, it’s not that deep
