I’m currently sitting at the airport crying my eyes out having to say goodbye to my man. Flying back to Washington from Virginia. This is sooo hard and takes two incredibly strong people to endure.

In the 8 months we have been together we met in person 4 times. Him Texas, me Iowa. From day 1, I planned to relocate. As of today, I am sitting in our living room and now a Texan. Long distance is hard but you got this! Trust your gut.

Damn! I'm not sure I can wait that long, it's been 7 months for me and I'm feeling like it will never happen...Even though we text everyday for 6-7 hours a day and have everyday since this journey began.... I wish you the best....Hopefully it will be worth the wait❤️

April :
I've been long distance now for 18 months. I flew once and saw him and his family and got officially engaged but haven't had the money to see him again and he's 7K miles away. According to USCIS, our case will be concluded February of this year but then he has to get his interview with the U.S. Embassy so hopefully that won't take too long. But we could be together in a few months!! I have a decent job now, so once I save enough for my new apartment, I may go see him again if the timing is longer than we think. The Government moves SLOWLY!!
