As a writer of literary fiction, I want women who are educated and who I can talk to about such things. Why would I not want that? I believe literature is the language of the soul. I want as many people as possible to speak that language. I am fascinated by feminists of the 19th century like Margaret Fuller. They were extraordinarily brave to express their opinions in a hostile environment.

i read that comment as physical attractivness is mans criteria, and education doesnt get a look in. IMO he is not that deep to reference the history of the educated woman, whether it be a societal given or not

This is so important and I wish I could repost it 100x. It still runs rampant through this society, even thinking women still HAVE to do the stereotypical life moves like motherhood and being a wife. Not that those are bad, but that there’s still the belief that we have to and should do those things. Thank you for making this video!🔥

My wife earned her Masters degree and she makes more $$ than I do with my PhD. She’s completely capable of caring for herself. She does not need me. She chooses me. I feel privileged

I agree, it’s so important we talk about this, I’m seeing more and more of this type of content, where women are mocked for their independence - it feels like we’re going back in time. An education is the most precious and beautiful thing!

The old strategies do not work anymore. Maybe men are anxious about this independence because women stop needing them to survive and they have to find new ways to interest a women.

women have been out performing men in education for the better part of 50 years. the gap in the sexes attending higher education is now the same as when title XI was passed, but in reverse.
