What's the big deal? You got a different seat to accommodate someones religious beliefs. Would be a problem if they did not have a seat for you, but that was not the case. People want to make a big deal about everything!

It’s not discrimination if you have just a their flight parameters to accommodate them it is discrimination if you change everyone else to accommodate them
