@myriadrecipes: BUTADON aka Pork Rice Bowl 🍚🥓 Earlier this year, I read Abroad in Japan by Chris Broad (loved it), and one of the dishes mentioned is Tokachi Butadon. Butadon is a pork rice bowl with many variations across Japan, and Tokachi (located in Hokkaido) is known for its specific style of this dish 🗻 In Tokachi, I believe the pork is grilled and then basted in a flavourful sauce (which sounds SO GOOD). However, since I don't have a grill in my kitchen, I made a more home-style version of Butadon.
