@elisetanriverdi: Salzburg is looking soooo beautiful right now! 🎄☃️✨ If you’re looking for a Christmas market trip this year then Salzburg needs to be on your list because it looks absolutely gorgeous at Christmas 🇦🇹 The whole city feels so cosy and festive and the main market by the cathedral is honestly one of the cutest markets I’ve been to ✨ Expect lots of twinkly lights, delicious food stalls and plenty of handmade decorations. Definitely grab a hot punch while you walk around, it’s everywhere and it’s perfect when it’s freezing❄️ When you’re not at the markets, Salzburg is such an easy city to wander around. The Old Town looks beautiful at this time of year, the fortress has great views and there are loads of cafés to hide away in when you need to warm up ☕️ For food, St Peter Stiftskeller is a great spot if you want something traditional and Afro Café is great if you want something a bit different 🍳 And I’d recommend staying somewhere near the Old Town so you can walk everywhere and pop in and out of the markets whenever you feel like it (it’s FREEZING so you may want to pop in and warm up every now and then) 🥶 If you needed a sign to visit Salzburg at Christmas, this is it.
