I’ve been wanting the Escura InstantSnap since I saw it earlier this year but couldn’t find a local seller and I didn’t really feel like buying it online (just because). So during my recent trip to Thailand, I decided to@drop by Loft coz I had a feeling they’d have it — and they did! I got it for THB 1,590. The InstantSnap is basically a digital camera that has three modes: photo, photo with frame (like an Instax Square/Polaroid), and video. It uses a Type-C cable to charge and needs a microSD card to store photos and videos (up to 32gb with no mention of an internal memory). It’s 1.3MP, auto-focus from 0.3m - infinity, 30FPS, focal length at 3.2mm with an aperture of F2.8. It also has built in microphones to capture sound during video mode. Basically, it’s a lo-fi camera similar to the quality of old smartphones. I’ve taken a few test shots/videos at both daylight and indoors/nighttime, and that’s exactly the result.
