italian americans(i know you’re canadian tho) often remove the last vowel from italian words. especially in new york. prosciutto, for example, would often be said as prosciut. so it’s not “wrong”, depending on who you ask, but pronouncing the e in panettone would be *technically* correct.

Traders Joe's Panettone is amazing. We owned Italian restaurants growing up, and I've had Pan from many places and I swear TJs is the best store bought yet.
