Great video!! Santa may be bringing me my first pair, 178cm, 94waist, rocker/camber/rocker. Should be find for east coast ice but still long and wide enough to play out west! I am hoping they’re not too long. I am 6’3”, purely level 2 skier lol.

Could have gotten the countach in a size shorter. My countach 104 is 170 and my Deathwish 96 is 174 because on the countach the mount point at -8 plus much less rocket than the Deathwish, people get confused that I have a 104 shorter than my 96, but the skis are just different types of skis

Isn’t it based off weight?

I’m glad you mentioned the effective edge! I feel like people don’t consider that. I have a pair that are 172 but have a shorter turn radius than my 162s. So much varies, it almost makes me want to try 188 on my atomics even though I’m 5’8” for science lol

When in your skiing journey can you start to buy more specific skis? I’m an intermediate/beginning advanced skier. But when I ski Jackson let’s say… there’s more pow… should you rent Pow Skis to try? Or just take the leap and start buying different skis for fun??
