You’re totally right. Good or bad, life dishes up all sorts to enjoy. As I’m doing a round on my recumbent bike, a chipmunk is racing across the patio, bringing its loot stuffed in both cheeks to the family. The patio stones are glistening from a bit of unexpected rain and the flagstones are dotted with the last fallen lilac bush leaves. A pretty fall picture.
