But this misunderstands Jesus’ words in Matthew 16:18: “And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church…” The “rock” is not Peter himself, but Peter’s confession of faith that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of the living God (Matthew 16:16). Baptize in Jesus name!! Father son and Holy Ghost are titles!! Read Acts 2:38 Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins". There are also many other scriptures! No one in the Bible was baptized using the titles!!
