@danaa_wanders: Montpellier 🇫🇷 wouldn’t plan a whole trip just for Montpellier, but if you’re already nearby or passing through, it absolutely deserves a stop — even just 1–2 hours. The old town is incredibly charming, with a mix of Spanish warmth and Parisian elegance. Tiny alleys, sunny squares, and that feeling where you just want to sit on a terrace and enjoy the slow-life vibes of the city. Montpellier wasn’t a Roman city and wasn’t a border city either — it actually developed later, in the Middle Ages, thanks to trade routes and its famous university. It still has one of the oldest medical schools in the world. Super cute, worth a wander, but not necessarily a destination on its own.
