The script is perfect. The use of the limited setting is amazing. Hottest day of the year, trapped in 1 room, the fan being broken, then the rain starts and they need to close the window. Talk about a heated situation.

I hadn’t seen 12 Angry Men since my freshman year of high school and rewatched it last night. Truly holds up! Your summary encapsulates it so well

I also like the way Juror 4 is used. It just always stuck out to me how one of the last holdouts was someone also taking the case seriously like 8, he just has a different outcome based on what was presented and is willing to change his mind once the others sway him by working through the evidence. He's a bit cold and unfeeling, but it kinda makes sense based on his background and how he views his duty as a juror.

Also it’s a great representation/explanation of the idea of “beyond a reasonable doubt”. In criminal cases, you have to be able to prove guilt with no room for reasonable doubt. If you are unsure about a detail or aspect of the case, then that standard of proof has been failed to reach and a person shouldn’t be found guilty. Just like in this movie, the consequences of a verdict is serious and so the case must be thoroughly examined and considered
