We’ve got to stop referring to chat bots as ‘search engines’ though. Because they’re not. They can’t look up data and present it to you, that’s why they hallucinate all the time. We need to call chatbots what they are, which are text prediction programs. Just an advanced version of the suggested word feature on your phone.

Lowkey I feel like that’s just user error. Like if ur mentally ill and prone to psychosis it’s going to happen one way or another, whether that’s from ChatGPT, social media, reading books, seeing certain numbers over and over, etc. if people are looking for a reason to believe their delusional thoughts they will find them. This may just be a general mental health rather than a ChatGPT issue. It would be interesting to see some kinda study that reveals how much of this is actually ChatGPT’s fault or just general mental health issues
