The way u basically slid the curling iron on ur hair after trying to curl it u basically straightened it back. Look up how to use it

try holding it in a 45 and curl it away from your face with 10 seconds hold at least when you are close to the root and unfold it slowly while find the curl shape then hokd it with a little hairpin, even better if it u get a hair spay holder for the finishing touche not a professional but I be watching closely and trying to recreate when my stylist do my hair

flexi rods im telling ya’ll! I had my qw for 2 weeks and didn’t put no heat to maintain the curls (just my leave out) and they looked fresh every single day.

It’s the skill guys. You need to curl the hair and let it stay for at least 5 seconds before letting it go. And when you let it go, use the clamp to slowly release it. I’m not best at explaining things but hopefully y’all get the vision.
