Palermo, Sicily, Italy ❤️🇮🇹🏛️ Palermo has a way of pulling you in with its contrasts, where grand architecture, narrow alleys, and everyday chaos blend into a city that feels completely alive.😍🙌🏽 The domes and arches of the Palermo Cathedral rise over the old town with their mix of Arab Norman and Gothic influences, while Piazza Bellini gathers centuries of history in one spot with San Cataldo, the Martorana, and Santa Caterina standing side by side.🏛️❤️ Walking through the streets you feel the rhythm of the markets spilling into the air, from the energy of Ballarò to the scents drifting through Vucciria, all framed by faded palazzi, wrought iron balconies, and colours that seem to glow in the Sicilian light.🍋🌳☀️ Down Via Maqueda the city opens up into squares where people gather for coffee, conversations, and the warm afternoon breeze. Teatro Massimo towers over Piazza Verdi with a quiet confidence, and the façades around Quattro Canti create one of the most iconic crossroad views in Italy.❤️ Even the smaller corners hold their own charm, with courtyards, church towers, and unexpected viewpoints appearing between the streets.
