Eating Shark fin is an immediate block, they cut the fins off of sharks and let them drown just for the fins hence the name. Absolutely not. Even eating it at a buffet you paid for is crazy work. Nope.

For anyone pointing out the shark fin soup, I don’t think that’s actually shark fin being served. There’s just no way a buffet would be able to profit off of that. It doesn’t matter how fancy the establishment is, it’s just too expensive of an ingredient to serve at an all you can eat buffet. Secondly there are lots of ways to imitate shark fin soup which have become popular in China. What she ate looks like a very thickened seafood soup with monk fish.
