@kodekloud: AWS interview Q: Secrets Manager vs Parameter Store? If you're preparing for AWS jobs, this question WILL come up. Secrets Manager vs Parameter Store. Most people confuse them. Here's the truth: 🔑 Secrets Manager = Your passwords, API keys, database credentials. It rotates automatically, encrypts everything, and keeps strict access control. 📋 Parameter Store = Your config values—port numbers, IP addresses, environment names. It's organized, versioned, but doesn't need rotation. Real-world example: RDS database connection. → Username & Password = Secrets Manager → Host, Port, Database Name = Parameter Store Know this difference, ace your interview, build more secure systems. Which one do you use more in production? Drop a comment! 👇 #AWS #CloudSecurity #DevOps #SystemsArchitecture #InterviewPrep #AWSJobs #CareerGrowth #TechEducation

Artur :
I’d say both can handle data securely as ssm has secure string option, so real difference imo is only rotation support out of the box for secrets manger.
