I’m just so glad he stayed as calm as he did and I wish the horse that we had that got stuck was as calm as Taz. Try not to let the haters get to you too much. in my experience running my own program for the past 4 years and riding and working for people for 15 horses were born to try and die in the most unconventional ways possible. just because you have nice show horses DOES NOT mean they need to be locked in a shiny box and even locked in a shiny box they find ways to try and off themselves. don’t beat yourself up about it because a horse is gonna horse and would find a way to injure themselves in a padded room 🫠 your horses are happy, healthy, fed, vetted, and on routine farrier schedules. They are CARED FOR, you’re doing great gf 🫶🏻

Horses are 2000lb animals that are always trying to find a way to 💀... you could put them in a padded room and they would get hurt someway... thank you for sharing Taz, Ember, and Horatio with us!

Sending you lots of love and hugs. My mustang who is only stalled right now because she’s brand new to the barn would not eat grain out of her pan yesterday. Normally she gobbles it. She was eating all her hay. I barely slept fearing she was going to colic and I can’t see her until maybe Thursday if the weather cooperates. My instructor/barn owner said she was her usual self today, but I’ve been an emotional wreck. She’s my first horse and I just want her to be ok.

hey, I had a young horse that would not stay in wire or rope being hot. we bought the wide white tape fence and run 4 strands as tight as possible with a good fencer to keep it hot. it worked great. more visible and I feel (literally) like it stays hotter.

horses are the physical form of Murphys law. anyone that hasnt had their horse do something to hurt themselves or the structures around them is either lying or in the 0.1% of lucky people (aka it just hasnt happened YET) As long as you're doing your best and care, thats all that matters. and its so beyond clear in your videos that you go above and beyond for your babies and care deeply. theyre incredibly lucky little ponies to have a family that loves them as much as you all doA
