We were feeding 2-3 times a night when he was 4 months old, and we started to taper that off - giving him less per feed. Eventually he dropped to a final bottle at 10pm. Since then, he slept through the night and if he does stir, we only ever hold his hand. However, he’s turned 8 months and has been unbearable the last few nights. The only thing that works is just sleeping with us now. Apparently it’s another regression.

My baby is 5 months and sometimes up every 1.5-2 hours! It’s relentless. If you find the magic cure please share 😬. We haven’t tried any sleep training because we also have a hard baby x

7 months is a key developmental stage, it's possible he's rolling or moving and that disturbed his sleep patterns, he might be ready to drop a nap, any possibility of teething...xxxx

We’re in the exact same boat with a 7 month old 🫠 except he’s never slept longer than a 2 hour period (only in the day). He is waking up just crying too. I have started sleep training today and hoping this will help as we are all exhausted :(

Neither of mine were sleeping through the night by that age, it's definitely very normal! As others have mentioned it's a rough age as there is so much development going on xx

Have you tried some baby porridge or mushed rusks with his last bottle? It might just be that he’s hungry xx

my little boy didn’t start sleeping through until he was around 9/10 months so i feel you!!! i figured out he was napping overall for too long in the day and his last nap needed to be a short(ish) one.. i don’t let him have longer than 3 hours total sleep time in the day now, and his last nap he is awake between 4-4:30 and goes down to bed at 7! he is now 14 months old and practically sleeps through (unless if he’s unwell) hang in there, it does get easier!! 🥰
