there’s no way the levees broke that easily.. i believe someone did something to it. also why was it so short if the city is below sea level anyways?

fun fact, as seen in the videos the levees were more then capable of withstanding the pressure. explosives handlers with USACE were ordered to blow the lower levees to prevent flooding higher up knowing it would kill most people in the lower areas (poor neighborhood)

after watching the documentary on this it's a 💯 that they blew them up to try to get all those people out of there then carted them to the stadium and left them there with nothing it's very sad I feel Soo bad for the families and people who had to go through this

I'm sicka my people saying they blew the lever up. Friday before on the news they said water was moving up the Mississippi ahead of the storm. if water is coming in beforehand and Katrina is bringing more water than that with her, the levees are going to break.
