Asking for a friend 🙃 This summer, we took a tour with Alaska Helicopter Tours where you take a helicopter to a glacier and then paddleboard ON the glacier! It was literally the most incredible, epic, and insane experience of our lives. 📍This tour leaves from Palmer, Alaska which is less than an hour from Anchorage. ➡️ This tour is private! So when you book, it is just your group and the guides. This means you can personalize your tour - for example we hiked around the glacier for an hour before we paddled. ❄️This tour provides a dry suit - you’ll wear this over any clothes you bring. Make sure you dress in layers! You will also wear a flotation device. ➡️ When we post about this experience, we always get asked if we were freezing. The answer is no! The layers and dry suit keep you warm and dry, the only place we got cold was on our exposed head and neck area but it wasn’t unbearable. there are no glaciers in Palmer Alaska. Do you mean the $1500 per person tour which first helicopters you to a glacier and then does this kayak etc
