I've lived in my RV for five years now. I used the AC unit the first year until I received a 500.00 utility bill. I've never used the heater. Now I use a portable AC unit and a oil heater and my utility bill stay under 100.00. BTW, I'm in a RV park. I have solar but haven't had it installed as of yet
