If I take the bus 3 times a week and I have to drive it once a month, then yeah, that sounds like a fair trade off to having the convenience of public transportation. BUT!!! My tax dollars better be paying for the CDL training for EVERYBODY.

my only argument for this would be disabled people who cannot drive for a valid reason such as migraines, visual impairment, physical impairment, or severe anxiety or some other disability related issue. Society should alsways be taking care of the disabled first and most. Most accessibility things that were invented for the disabled have been mainstreamed to the public. Automatic doors being a good example, also cross walks.
