Song of the day ~ 122 Days / scrims verse. Easily 1 of their most relatable songs they’ve released. This song is truly the cherry on top, gets me through my rough days anytime I hear it. 122 Days” is a dark, introspective track which explores themes that show up often in their work—addiction, depression, self-destructive habits, and the struggle to break out of cycles of pain. The title itself refers to a period of time marked by emotional turmoil and attempts at sobriety or self-control, which ultimately clash with relapse and despair The 3 key points are the following: 👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽 Struggle with sobriety: The title reflects a period of attempted sobriety or restraint that ultimately feels fragile or doomed. Existential reflection: The artists question their purpose, their future, and whether they can change. Isolation: A feeling of being disconnected from others and trapped in one’s own mind runs through the track. Do you have a song suggestion?
