I had this discussion few days back with someone who thought '48 laws of power' is an unethical book. I did my best to explain it to him that it's not. one of the laws he pointed to is 'poise as a friend, work as a spy'. I agree most people just scan through the laws without reading them.

This is the reason why corporations need to be kept on a tight leash and strictly controlled by government legislation. With the advent of AI now being in the hands of corporate overlords, humanity is facing a calamitous scenario. We don't need to live out a dystopian nightmare that has been played out in films, movies and novels.
