@dadadvicefrombo: Somewhere on a rural farm in Washington state is a regular family whose life was altered twice: First when my daughter, Emily, suffered a traumatic brain injury. And second when YOU conspired to help her, and us, survive it. Recently, I had a chance to tell Ms. Tabitha at People Magazine the purpose behind this channel. I tried my best to tell her what I tell you all as often as possible, which is that this has never been about me: It is about YOU. Your willingness to learn, your kind comments, you taking the time to share these videos with people you love. It is about my girly. The depths of strength she found to keep fighting when the doctors told us we didn’t have treatments left to try. And her mission to be cured, not just for herself but for all survivors. It is about the people who work at companies that see our story and want to support this mission. Thank you will never be enough. Thank you for focusing on learning and on my girly so I don’t feel the attention on me. Thank you for not putting me on a pedestal, I am a regular Dad.. plenty flawed, plenty of daily mistakes.
