I did this with my puppy but aligned it to the word "Check" so now if he starts running too quickly or anything like that, I say "Check" and he immediately disengages and looks to me cause he knows he gets a treat and a pat for it

my puppy does the oppositie. when going on walks, at least at the start she seems scared and wants to go home. she is part border collie and needs some time out of the garden and house. she isnt very food motivaded when distracted. how do i get her to walk to the park she loves?

Hey I have a puppy and whenever he sees other dogs he gets too excited and starts jumping and barking to them and they get scared / defensive etc. he is not aggressive just too excited , how do we fix that?

okay but what if nothing gets their attention 😅 have a shepherd that pulls, lunges, and barks. Always on alert. Im practically being walked and i hate that i have to have an aggressive tone to get some acknowledgement.
