@beyondflorida: Mission San Luis de Apalachee was a Spanish Franciscan mission built in 1656 in the Florida Panhandle, two miles west of the present-day Florida Capitol Building in Tallahassee, Florida. It was located in the Apalachee Province and was a unique blend of Spanish colonialists and Native peoples. #floridahistory

It is in the middle of Tallahassee. It's literally located across the street from a Publix and down the street from FSU. It is a cool place though.
