I think its because kids know something is up but they dont yet understand it. Changing weather, dark outside, upcomming holidays and Christmas, parents being maybe a little stressed, no school, I think they maybe even feel more then us adults but don't know what to do with it and get overstimulated Also don't worry about a little rant every know and then, you can both be happy and greatfull while also sometimes wanting to glue them to a wall 😅

Can I recommend audiobook stories? maybe it won't work for your kids but when it's a story abouta character they like or something they find relaxing itcan bring the energy down

so, idea... my mom did this with us. it's called the, ABC game. start with one person on A. you list your A name, from an A place, and your profession is A. then the next person is B. ect, ect... perfect for road trips to occupy everyone's mind and they learn without knowing it
