@jetandpropshop: #duet with @Pirate Boat Ramp Why DO YOU think this happened? It's a Seadoo issue or because of user error of not draining the water and loading it half way onto the trailer? This is a hard lesson to watch! 🫣 ​When a Sea-Doo (or any PWC) sinks, it takes on massive weight. Water weighs over 8 lbs per gallon. A hull full of water can easily add 1,000+ lbs to the load. ​Because the ski was only halfway on the trailer, all that massive water weight at the back acted like a lever, putting thousands of pounds of tension on the front tow hook. That hook is designed to pull a floating ski, not lift a sunken tank! ​Pro Tip: If you have to recover a sunken ski, you must pump or drain the water out as you winch it up little by little, or else you may find yourself missing part of your ski 😮 ​#boatfail #jetskifail #seadoo #seadoolife
